
About Tim
Tim grew up in Clarkston, Michigan, and graduated from the University of Michigan in 1984 with a degree in Communication. He later earned a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Lewis University in 2021. He played ten seasons in the NBA for teams including the Seattle Supersonics, Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Nets, Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks, and New York Knicks.







Tim worked for the National Basketball Players Association for 30 years as the Senior Regional Director of Player Programs. His role with the NBPA included being the Camp Director of the TOP 100 Basketball Camp and the coordinator of the Rookie Transition Program for incoming NBA rookies.
As co-founder of the Michigan Elite 25, Tim mentors young athletes through free basketball camps and leadership training. He lives in West Bloomfield, Michigan, with his wife, Michelle, and their two children.
